The bible quiz/trivia will have the following topics:

- "Bad girls of the Bible"
- ETC!!!
so come prepared!

| 2007 CYC Valentines Day Banquet!February 10th (this saturday) at 6:00 pm.
Come join us for food, fun, and romance 
hahaha.. kidding about the romance, but please do come nonetheless!
And remember that the banquet is semi-formal...
that means no jeans, no hoodies, sneakers... ya know ya know.
For boys: a nice shirt and khakis? maybe even a tie?
For girls: either a nice pair of black slacks paired with a nice top, or a skirt,
or even go with a casual night dress
us girls know what semi-formal is so I don't worry

| YO PEOPLE! CYC's 2006 WINTER RETREAT " REVOLUTION" is approaching very very soon! That means you all need to turn in your retreat forms on time by December 17 (THIS SUNDAY!) After this date you will be required to pay an additional $15 for late registrants and $10 for additional siblings! The regular fee is $55 and $50 for additional siblings. Don't turn it in late and MAKE SURE mamma or poppa signed that form unless you're 18 like some of us.... heh hehhhhhhh :) CHYEAH. Oh, some pointers on what to bring and what not to bring... BRING: BIBLE(i dont understand people that go to a retreat Bible-less... do you??? COURSE NOT. so bring that BIBLE!), notebook(a little booklet for taking notes is provided for everyone if you dont want to bring your own), pen, toiletries, sleeping bag, pillow, clothes, shoes, SOCKS(you're going to want to wear two purrs of these babies... it gets coooold at night), mittens/gloves/scarf/earmuffs(us cool people play outside during free time), camera(capture all of the retreat's events!) DON'T BRING: electronics(CD players, MP3 players, cell phones, PDA's, mini ovens, microwaves, you know.), drugs(O.O), cigarettes(uh oh), alcohol(tsk tsk), coke, crack, pills, none of that funky junk! If someone finds you with any of this stuff.... all i can say is that you are freakin SCREWWED. so dont do it. God doesn't like that stuff too much. Oh, and Pastor Dave too :) If you bring your cell phone, there'll usually be someone(a counselor) who'll hold onto that for you until the end of the retreat! There isn't any service out there anyways :) so anyways... come on out to the retreat! It'll be fantasticterrificwonderfuljoyousoutstandingwonderousbeautifulsweetgloriousbeautiful. you definately dont want to be missing out on the awesome things God has planned for us :) heh heh. | | |
| HAYHAYHAY! FRIDAY FUN FEST! OCTOBER 27TH (TOMORROW) @ ORBIT ROLLER RINK WE ARE GOING FLIPPIN' ROLLERSKATING, YO! SKATE RENTAL FEE/ENTRANCE IS $6, BUT PLEASE BRING EXTRA MONEY IF YOU WANT TO EAT/BUY STUFF :) MEET AT CHURCH BY 6:30PM! SHARP! OR BAD THINGS WILL HAPPEN. BRING YOUR FRIENDS! WOOTY WOOT. COME. IT IS GOING TO BE AMAZING. -------------------------------------------------------------------- Extended Prayer Meeting October 27 (AFTER FRIDAY FUN FEST) 10:15pm until 12am Come on out to extended prayer meeting for a chance to pray at chuch for a longer period of time. Get away from loud loud noisy noisy distracting home! haha.. maybe not for all of you, BUT nonetheless come on out for some time of good prayer with your fellow canaanites :)

found a pumpkin in light of the pumpkin picking season! kind of a weird thing to cut out of your pumpkin, but hey... this is pretty daaaaang good. hahaha .... NEXT! -------------------------------------------------------------------------- HALLELUJAH NIGHT! Hallelujah Night is a program that the Korean side hosts for their kids every Halloween where they provide the kids with food, games, and fun :) Come out Tuesday night to help out with the festivities! It'll be from 5pm to 8:30pm in the large multipurpose room. Help out and grab some candy of your own heh heh :P There will be a sign up sheet in the sanctuary if you want to come and volunteer :) All for now, people. PEACE OUT. WE OUT. | | |
| HELLO DEARIES! Some more terrific announcements we got for ya'lls... Gym Night--- Friday September 29th at Northfield from 7:30 to 9:30. Rides will be provided at 7:00 at church. This is going to be the best day of your life. So come on out! After gym night will be an extended prayer meeting starting at 10:15 until midnight. This is a great opportunity for you to pray without the distractions at home. PARA LA MESA DE OCTUBRE! (FOR THE MONTH OF OCTOBER) OCTOBER 1, SUNDAY: CYC leadership meeting numero dos! Remember remember remember that leadership goes down the first week of every month! Also: Don't forget to bring some paper/notebook and a pen! Oh and of course your Bible for all of you who didn't bring one last meeting. SHAME SHAME. OCTOBER 6, FRIDAY: Worship night!
